The Jewish Organizing Initiative (JOI) develops the next generation of Jewish leaders, and helps them gain the organizing skills and experience to build powerful Jewish and community organizations in order to create a just world.
These leaders will:
- As professionals, organize power in Jewish institutions and/or civic organizations to act effectively on shared values of social and economic justice.
- As community members, make Jewish communities more effective by leading them to become reflective institutions that value relationship and action.
- As individuals, integrate their Jewish values into their personal identity and public commitments.
