Personal Care Attendants provide care to seniors and people with disabilities in their homes. Description: The organizer will have primary responsibility for outreach to PCAs and allied community organizations in a specified region of the state. The goal of the position is to build a movement of care providers that can make change in their working conditions. The organizer will help build the union by conducting individual outreach to PCAs, holding small group meetings of PCAs, building committees of PCA activists, and working with PCA’s and community organizations to lobby state legislators about long term care issues.
